Angus is one of the historic counties and also one of 32 unitary council regions in Scotland and a Lieutenancy Area. The unitary council region borders onto Aberdeenshire, Perth and Kinross and the City of Dundee. Its main industries are agriculture and fishing. The administrative headquarters is Forfar.
